Webinar: Trends in Injection Moulding

The SPE: A-NZ Section is pleased to announce a webinar in collaboration with Arburg, Germany and its representative for Australia, Comtec, which will be held on Wednesday, 17th June 2020 from 4 pm to 5 pm.

The speaker will be Bertram Stern, Packaging and Circular Economy Manager at Arburg, Lossburg, Germany and the topic will be:

“Trends in Injection Moulding”

In his function as Packaging and Circular Economy Manager, Bertram is responsible for Global Packaging related projects as well as Project Leader for the areas of Circular Economy and Sustainability at ARBURG. He has a profound knowledge of packaging requirements, technologies and market trends and will cover in his presentation a number of subjects:

· Resource Efficiency

· Digitalisation and Artificial Intelligence

· Circular Economy and Recycling

Bertram has a technical background with more than 5 years’ experience in the field of packaging. He has extensive working experience in different fields such as Research & Development with a focus on packaging and material innovation.

He is the holder of a Masters of Engineering Degree in Packaging Technology and Engineering from the University of Applied Sciences in Munich, Germany.

The presentation will be introduced by John Parrington, Managing Director of Comtec, who are representing Arburg in Australia.

At the end of the webinar, there will be an opportunity for asking questions.
