Plastics and Medical Applications

Updated: Jun 5, 2022

This event organised by the Australia-New Zealand Section of the Society of Plastics Engineers is in collaboration with the BioMelbourne Network, the Medical Technology Association of Australia, the Plastics Industry Manufacturers of Australia and co-located with the Australian Manufacturing Week Exhibition organised by the Australian Manufacturing Technology Institute Ltd (AMTIL).

This will be the first in-person event organised by the SPE: A-NZ Section since the COVID-19 restrictions came into force.

Originally, this event was set-up as a showcase on the use of plastics in Medical and Medical Devices Applications. The SPE: A-NZ Section abandoned this approach and instead have concentrated more on presentations by service providers to the Medical (Devices) Applications industry sectors as we thought that this approach would be of greater benefit to the supply chain in which the Medical (Devices) Applications operate.

Timely incorporation of these and similar service providers in the delivery of your applications to the market and its customers will reduce costs, optimise the design of plastic applications used in the supply chain and provide faster delivery to the end customers in your chosen markets.

Applying the lessons learned from this One-Day Conference will assist you and your company in being more successful.

Attending the Conference will also provide you with entry to the Exhibition between 12 pm and 2 pm (lunch at own cost at the Exhibition). Entry to the Exhibition is free of charge, but you must register which you can do now: www.australianmanufacturingweek.com.au
