Advances in Injection Molding Technology followed by Annual General Meeting (AGM)

This seminar provides insights into the value of injection molding

simulation, in relation to the manufacturing process. Advances in material testing

measurement techniques are presented and then explored in the Autodesk Material

Testing Laboratory.


The presentations will be followed by a networking session with finger food and drinks.

Speaker: Dr. Franco Costa

Note: This presentation explores physical insights of the injection molding manufacturing

process. Results are presented from research covering Injection Overmolding of Stamp

Formed Composites project.

Advances in Material Testing Measurement Technology

Speaker: Dr. Russell Speight

Note: This presentation provides a broad overview of the material testing requirements for

Injection Molding Simulation, and then explores advances in thermal conductivity

measurement.


5:45 pm to 6:45 pm

Autodesk Material Testing Laboratory Tour

Note: Material testing for plastics is continually advancing. During this tour you will

understand the materials data requirements for Moldflow Injection Molding Simulation,

to ensure the best results. The latest test methods will be discussed. (depending on

numbers, we will sub-divide in separate groups).
