About the event
Join SPE-ANZ members and other industry professionals on a tour of Australia’s largest end-to-end plastics recycling facility. Follow the journey of packaging containers from the commingled recycling bin into high-quality, food-grade recycled resin.
The tour will include a visit to Cleanaway’s Laverton Material Recovery Facility (MRF) and integrated Plastics Recovery Facility (PRF) as well as Circular Plastics Australia (PE)’s HDPE and PP recycling plant producing recycled resins used for food, beverage, and industrial packaging. Circular Plastics Australia (PE) is a joint venture between Pact Group and Cleanaway.
Safety gear will be limited, so bring your own safety outfit: safety shoes, long sleeves and pants, helmet, and glasses.
