About the event
Circular economy represents a sustainable alternative to the linear economic model, emphasising resource reuse. NETZSCH Analyzing & Testing develops and manufactures equipment and software for examining temperature-dependent properties of sustainable materials, contributing to this field. This presentation explains the circular economy, the role of plastics, and the use of analytical instruments in materials development. The traditional linear economy, characterized by a 'take, make, dispose' approach, leads to resource depletion and significant environmental challenges, including high greenhouse gas emissions and climate change. A circular economy offers a solution by maximizing the value of resources through reuse and recycling, keeping materials in use as long as possible. This model is based on three principles: designing out waste and pollution, keeping products and materials in use, and regenerating natural systems.
Transitioning to a circular economy offers benefits such as reduced costs for companies, stronger customer relationships, and improved living conditions. The presentation…
