About the event

A recent report on advanced recycling technologies to address Australia’s plastic waste was published by Sarah King from the CSIRO as lead author covering the processes of chemical or advanced recycling.

In Australia several entities have been working on ways of recovery of plastic waste other than mechanical recycling. One of the companies doing so is Qenos with a project aiming on making chemical or advanced recycling a reality for Polyethylene.

Qenos has partnered with technology providers Plastic Energy and Axens as well as waste management company Cleanaway to conduct a feasibility study for implementation of Polyethylene advanced or chemical recycling in Australia.

This seminar will cover the work by Qenos and project partners on the feasibility study and an update on the status of the project.
